It gives immense pleasure in penning these words to you as the president of All University Muslim Student Association (AUMSA) for the year 2020. AUMSA is an umbrella organization of all state university Muslim Majlises in Sri Lanka and maintains strong, long-standing relationships with all undergraduate associations in Sri Lanka. We represent the Majlises at the national level and provide guidance and welfare services to all majlises while coordinating the activities of Majlises around the island towards a common goal.

AUMSA had been formed with a great vision and is functioning successfully towards achieving it. At the Annual General Meeting of AUMSA held in December, 2019. I was appointed as the president along with a revolutionary and visionary set of undergraduates in the executive committee, Alhamdulillah. Since then, we have not looked back. We have partnered and corresponded with numerous national organizations while ensuring that Muslim university undergraduates recognize their core values and responsibilities and work towards them, through strategized and structured programs, workshops and projects at the university and community levels.

As all undergraduates and student organizations, we possess immense power, creativity, vision and thousands of visionary, active youth willing to carry out our mission.

We are pleased about the success of the website launched by All University Muslim Student Association (AUMSA), Alhamdulillah. The activities and the projects undertaken by AUMSA will be updated on the website. By following the website, you’ll be able to keep track of the activities of AUMSA and by visiting the website you’ll be able to obtain information relevant to you. The publication of this website is aimed at creating a platform for undergraduates who wish to join the All University Muslim Student Association in the future.
